The Importance Of Knowing Your Price Range

Once you fall in love with a particular home, it's hard to let go of those thoughts. You have pictured ‘how great life would be’ if you had all the wonderful things it offered - the lovely, patio, scenic views, the spacious kitchen with professional-grade appliances. However, if you can't or won't be able to afford that house, you're just causing yourself unneeded pain by holding on to those feelings. To avoid the temptation to get in over your head financially, or the disappointment of feeling like you're settling for less than you deserve, it's always best to look at homes only in your price range.
Prior to looking at available homes get approved and then start your search at the low end of your price range - if what you find there satisfies you, there's no need to go higher. Remember, there will be unplanned expenses that accompany your new home, both needed and wanted. You may be better off putting that money toward another desire.
